GETTING THERE

Flying

Fly into SJD (Los Cabos International Airport).
It’s a 75-minute drive to Todos Santos.

There is also one flight daily from LAX to LAP (La Paz Airport), which is approximately 1-hour drive to Todos Santos.

Getting around

We recommend renting a car at the airport. The drive to Todos Santos is straightforward on a well-maintained highway (bring cash for the toll; USD or Pesos are accepted). However many town roads are unpaved and sandy - a 4WD vehicle is highly recommended.

You will want a vehicle so you can explore the area and access the amazing beaches. Hertz, Avis, Budget, Enterprise, etc. - are all available at the airport.

Uber and Lyft don’t exist in Todos Santos.

Keep in mind…

  • MAKE SURE YOUR PASSPORT IS UP TO DATE!

  • The beaches in Todos Santos have dangerous breaks and aren’t suitable for swimming. Playa Las Palmas and Cerritos are a short drive away for calmer and safer waters.

  • Todos Santos is generally safe, but use normal precautions as you would in any tourist destination.

  • Most places accept US dollars and credit cards, but it's good to have some local currency (MX Pesos).

  • ATMs are available at the airport and throughout the city center.

  • Drink bottled or purified water. Most restaurants catering to tourists use purified water for food preparation. STAY HYDRATED!

  • Bring sunscreen and a hat—the sun is strong in Baja!

  • There are several clinics and pharmacies in town for minor health needs.
